The Beretti beepers respect the dog welfare

Following several studies, it has been established that high-intensity, high-frequency acoustic collars (e.g., 100-130 dB SPL; 2000-3000 Hz) can cause temporary hearing damage in dogs.

Beretti, a company long committed to manufacturing equipment for animal welfare, informs its customers that its beeper collars comply with the guidelines.

- The Beeper 2000 xp® emits a sound signal at a frequency between 1200 and 1500 Hz.
- Scolopax beeper emit a sound signal at a frequency between 950 and 1200 Hz.

Because these frequencies are perceived at a greater distance by the human ear, the volume can be even lower. Both models are equipped with a volume control, and the maximum volume does not exceed 100 dB with the factory settings.

The long collar allows you to position the beeper under your dog's belly, keeping the speaker away from its ear.

Both beepers feature a silent search function. The Scolopax 4.0 and Scolopax PRO also have a silent pointing function with an audible alert on the remote control.

All of this is designed to minimize noise and disturbance to both your dog and wildlife. Your dog's well-being is our top priority, and our beepers reflect this.
