The Scolopax Rusticola (scentific name) is very charming, intelligent, and camouflages itself very well in the dense forest due to the color of its plumage. This is why it has been nicknamed the Queen of the Woods.

It is one of the most common wild birds in our area and can be hunted throughout the hunting season.

The Woodcock lives in high, dry places, especially during very rainy seasons. However, in droughts, it prefers to rest in cool, shaded areas with dense vegetation.
