When we developed the beeper 2000® we took into consideration the experience and requirements of hunters and we decided to use low frequency tones which can be heard at long distances (lower than 1200 Hz, peak 2000 Hz).
 
This beeper is the result of years of research to overcome all difficulties that might arise from its use.

The beeper undergoes various tests and trials in climatic test chambers (from -20 to +60 degrees °C), it is tested for physical resistance and strong vibrations and it is completely immersed in water.

Beeper characteristics:

• Very simple to set-up (by means of an internal screw-driver and dip-switch).
• Eight types of acoustic signals when the dog is searching.
• Eight types of acoustic signals, among which three falcon birdsong simulations when the dog is pointing.
• Completely water-proof, with electronics immersed in latex in order to make it suitable for under-water use, high physical resistance.
• The beeper 2000® is equipped with a magnet which makes it possible to switch it on and off from the outside without the need to unscrew the top.
• It allows the interval between one beep and the next during the search to be adjusted (from 4 to 60 seconds (by means of the supplied screw-driver).
• Delay when the dog is pointing: this function can be set from 0 to 60 seconds (by means of the screw-driver supplied) and corresponds to the signal delay before the beeper starts emitting sounds when the dog is pointing.
• It is possible to set a special sound when the dog is searching and another type of sound when it is pointing or to use the silent mode when it is searching and the sounds switched on when the dog is pointing (use the dip-switch for the different settings).
• Adjustable sound (by means of the screw-driver supplied),  audible in optimal conditions: approximately 400 m. Powered by a 9-Volt-battery.
• Possibility to adjust the sound tones. Adjust sound with the screw-driver to suit your personal hearing. (with age some people tend to lose high frequencies, but this function enables you to overcome this problem).
• Dimensions: diam. 5.4 x 10 cm.
• 9V-battery 9V (type 6LR61) , life: up to an entire hunting season!
• Acoustic signal to indicate low battery energy when you turn it on.
